Study Support

Acrisure is keen to ensure that all its employees are supported whether it is studying for a professional qualification such as ACII or completing one of our Leadership Programmes. You will be allocated a coach/mentor that is right for you and be able to ask for extra support from our dedicated Talent Development team as and when you need it. Depending on what qualification you are taking we will not only fund the course/programme but pay you a bonus for completing it.

Training

As you would expect from a top 5 Fintech company we are pretty hot on our training especially around compliance, but we also have structured programmes that cover your professional, career and individual development.     I joined Acrisure International to help in setting up the Global Markets team, a unit which I now lead, managing market relationship across Acrisure.

    Acrisure moves at an incredible pace, that has meant working on a wide variety of content and getting comfortable tackling concepts outside of one's comfort zone. The access to leadership that is afforded to young leaders is unrivalled, allowing people to take on responsibility and to contribute to company strategy.     Billy Sawyer

    I joined Acrisure Re as a Graduate Account Manager in September 2021, having recently graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Economics and Finance. Since then, I have grown into my role as a reinsurance broker and have been provided with the opportunity to engage with a range of different clients on a variety of work. I am grateful for the exposure and responsibilities Acrisure Re have provided me with from day one as this has been crucial to my development in the early stages of my career. Alongside my day-to-day role, Acrisure Re has also supported me with gaining my professional qualifications at the Chartered Institute of Insurance, which I hope to complete in the near future.

    Jack Shiner

    In September 2019, I joined the Acrisure Re team having graduated from Loughborough University, during which time I also had the opportunity to undertake a placement year in Finance at a Property Development firm. Since joining Acrisure Re as a graduate, I have been afforded the opportunity to comprehensively delve into the reinsurance and delegated authority sectors, working with a diverse clientele spanning various market segments and global landscapes. This experience has ultimately enabled me to gain knowledge and insight into a diverse array of insurance and reinsurance products.

    Maddie Macdonald

    I joined Acrisure London Wholesale in 2021 after graduating from Durham University that summer. Although my degree background in Anthropology was not typically related directly to working in a financial sector such as insurance, I found many skills I could apply and Acrisure London Wholesale had an important role in nurturing these. Since then, I have grown into my role as Account Manager and was provided with the opportunity to work with different clients and given a range of exposure to markets within London.

    Sophie Worsnop

    I joined Acrisure Re in 2021 as part of their graduate programme, having studied mathematics at university. From my first day I was presented with a variety of technical and client-facing work, cross-discipline (M&A, capital raising & advisory work) and cross-continental (US and London). The breadth of experience and the mentoring I have received has equipped me with both soft and applied skills, allowing me to grow into my current role.
