About the team and the job:

The Director of Program Management is a strategic leadership position within the Transformation PMO. The individual in this role will oversee a team of program managers dedicated to executing cross-functional programs that align with Acrisure's strategic goals. Reporting to the Vice President of Transformation Program Management, the director will be instrumental in guiding initiatives that contribute to the company's transformative efforts. Incumbents for this position are leaders with a record in team management, adept in communication, and passionate about driving change. This position will support the transformation programs of Acrisure partners in Europe and South America.

How you'll contribute:

• Guide team's efforts to oversee end-to-end program lifecycle management, align with strategic direction, understand stakeholder sentiment, and drive positive outcomes.
• Champion the ongoing education and skill enhancement of team members, identifying opportunities for growth and facilitating training and mentorship.
• Cultivate a cohesive and collaborative team environment through regular team-building activities that promote unity and a shared sense of purpose
• Partner with the VP of Program Management to establish a program management function across the enterprise, including the adoption of systems or tools for managing multiple projects.
• Work with other project and program management teams to develop common processes and tools. Encourage a team's participation in a community of practice among project and program management professionals within the organization.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize projects and manage resource utilization, providing regular progress reports.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in business, communications, project management, or related field. 
• Experience in project or program management overseeing complex cross-functional projects/programs, preferably within FinTech operations.
• Experience directly managing a team.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred
