About the team and the job:

As part of our 2025 summer internship program, the successful candidate will be exposed to all areas of the business, working directly with senior members of the broking, actuarial and catastrophe modeling teams on reinsurance programs and other opportunities placed out of our Toronto, Canada office.

How you'll contribute:

• Supporting Production Brokers and Account Managers with the management and maintenance of existing client relationships and development of new partnerships.
• Assist with the production of high-quality presentations, submissions and analysis
• Develop a detailed understanding of the client's business, as part of developing tailor-made insurance and reinsurance solutions to assist the Toronto office
• Interpret analytical results, in order to evaluate and compare different (re)insurance prices and strategies   

Requirements:

• Positive attitude with a willingness to work hard in a team
• Analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills including relationship building and organization
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Exceptional time management, organization and prioritization skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word capabilities, and ability to learn if not yet know PowerBI and SQL
